Romolo Gaspari, MD, MSc, RDMS is the Director of the Division of Emergency Ultrasound for the Department of Emergency Medicine at the University of Massachusetts School of Medicine. Dr. Gaspari is a recognized expert on Emergency Ultrasound who has lectured nationally and internationally on the subject of Emergency Ultrasound and is the primary author of ‘Emergency Ultrasound - Principles and Practice’ one of the definitive texts on Emergency Ultrasound. Dr Gaspari has authored numerous research publications on emergency ultrasound and regularly lectures to emergency physicians, radiologist, family physicians and others. Dr. Gaspari oversees a busy Emergency Ultrasound division responsible for the annual education of 36 emergency medicine residents, over 60 emergency medicine attendings and an emergency ultrasound fellowship at a level-one trauma center in central Massachusetts.
