Assurance
Emergency Ultrasound Services assists in ultrasound quality
assurance by providing remote expert review of ultrasounds
performed at your location. After submitting your ultrasound
images over the web, experts in emergency ultrasound will
over-read your interpretations and generate an official
report for internal quality assurance and/or patient records.
This is a rapid process and may be sent directly to the
person who conducted the ultrasound as well as administrative
personnel.
Individualized Reports. After
the ultrasounds are submitted you will receive a report
detailing any technical errors along with tips on how
to improve your imaging. Emergency ultrasound experts
will also answer any questions submitted with your original
images. Your images and interpretations with our over-reads
may then be printed out for hospital credentialing.
Monthly and Annual Reports. Your
department will receive monthly and annual reports categorizing
the ultrasounds performed at your institution. Interpretative
and technical skill statistics will identify error trends
and knowledge gaps. Reports of department and individual
trends according to ultrasound type allow an analysis
of resource utilization and can notify you of missed opportunities
for additional ultrasound imaging and revenue. Reports
on error trends also identify future educational needs.
